BFA Show Statement:
What would you consider magic to be? Maybe the first things that come to mind are potions or wands, but have you ever considered the Earth and nature to be magical as well? I want to show people that there is mysticism in what many consider to be ordinary. Homeopathy and herbalism, while labeled an alternative practice, was the original way that we treated ailments before the birth of modern medicine. This is something that has been studied for centuries, proving that the body can heal itself with the aid of herbs. I truly believe that there is magic within this; in what our bodies can do, with what nature has provided and how this all aligns. Cottage Apothecary is a brand that wants to assist its patrons in becoming their own healer, helping them to make magic potions with resources they can find in their spice cabinet or their own backyard.

Cottage Apothecary is a self design brand that interlaces nature, mysticism and healing; wanting to show everyone the magic that is in the mundane, and the power that we all have when working together with nature. With the help of the Mystical Herbology Deck, patrons can learn about homeopathy in a tarot inspired display that shuffles together magic and nature.
Intended to be print in 5.5" x 8.5" dimensions on ivory 80lb cardstock for the cover and white 70lb text uncoated.
